Under the courageous, far-sighted and hypnotic leadership of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the greatest Bengali nation of all time, the state called "Bangladesh" manifested itself in the heart of the world through the bloody great liberation war of nine months in 1971. Bangabandhu embarked on a huge undertaking to build Bangladesh as the "Golden Bengal" of his dreams. But on the black night of August 15, 1975, after the martyrdom of this great leader and his family, the beacon of the nation came to a standstill due to the cruel blow of the bullet. At present, Bangladesh is moving forward at a relentless pace in the development journey under the timely and far-sighted leadership of her worthy daughter, Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, in building the "Golden Bengal" of the Father of the Nation's dream. 

The field administration is working relentlessly to build "Sonar Bangla". The important institution of field administration is the upazila administration and it is the focal point for all the executive functions of the government at the upazila level. The role of upazila administration is very important in fulfilling the aspirations of the common people of the country. The Upazila Nirbahi Officer, as the representative of the Central Government, implements and coordinates various government development activities undertaken at the Upazila level. Following this, Savar Upazila Administration under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the government promised "Vision 2021", "Vision 2041", "Digital Bangladesh",The government is working to meet the goals of the SDGs and implement the election manifesto. Chilmari Upazila Revenue Collection and Land Management, Executive Magistrate, Law and Order Control, Local Government Activities, The upazila administration is working diligently in conducting activities like education, public examination, health service, national and local elections, protocol, mobile court management etc.
